The latest generation of sensorProbe devices, in a form factor that allows for 1U, 0U and DIN rail mounting.
A low profile design that is economical on cabinet space.
SensorProbeX+ comes in several standard configurations, or can be customized by choosing from a variety of modules such as dry contact inputs, IO’s, internal modem, analog to digital convertors, internal UPS and additional sensor ports.
  • Every sensorProbeX+ is equipped with Ethernet, Modbus RS485, EXP and BEB communications

Remote Sensor Monitoring
SPX+ is compatible with all AKCP sensors, making it an extremely versatile and cost-effective remote monitoring solution.
Suitable for small data center temperature monitoring, refrigerator temperature monitoring.

Environmental Monitoring Sensors
Environmental Monitoring is important to daily operations and health of equipment.
Deploy temperature sensors for data center monitoring and server rooms.
Monitor water leaks, power sensors and much more.

Security Sensors
RFID cabinet locks, door contacts and motion detectors will keep you in tune with the security situation at your sites down to cabinet level.
Control who can access cabinets and when, centrally managed and monitored through AKCP Pro Server.

Power Sensors
AC Voltage sensor, DC voltmeters, sensor-controlled relays and power metering can all be done on the SPX+.

Specialized Sensors
Tank Level Sensors can monitor for liquid levels in fuel tanks, oil storage, chemical tanks and so on.
Any tank up to 2 meters in depth can be monitored.
Alarms generated when levels drop to critical levels, making sure you can re-fill with sufficient notice.
Other specialized sensors include the key switch override, to disable notifications while maintenance work is being performed, and a programmable LCD sensor display.


AKCPro Server Monitoring Platform
AKCPro Server is a world-class centralized monitoring and management software.
Including drill down mapping, drawing program for creating floorplans, graphing, custom dashboards, tablet user interface, synchronization of sensor events with video feeds.

SensorProbeX+ Expansion Architecture
Every SPX+ comes with both EXP (Expansion) and BEB (Basic Expansion Bus) ports.
These expansion ports give you the ability to add functionality to your base device, so your system can grow with your needs.

Basic Expansion Bus (BEB)
BEB is suitable for short distance expansion within your cabinet.
Build up your system adding additional SPX+ BEB Remote units.
Daisychain the expansion units up to a maximum of 20 meters for the total chain.
SPX+ BEB Remote units are cost effective expansion when you place the unit within the same or neighbouring cabinet.
  • 4x BEB – Max total cable length 10 meters
  • 3x BEB – Max total cable length 18 meters (3x 6m)
  • 2x BEB – Max total length 20 meters (2x 10m)
  • 2x BEB – Max total length 20 meters (1x 20m)

Basic Expansion Bus (BEB)


Expansion (EXP)
EXP is used where you need to extend the distance up to 300 meters. SPX+ EXP Remote devices can be daisychained, with a maximum of 300 meters between each unit.

Deploying a DCIM in your data center is easy!

The AKCP SensorProbe2 is a “DCIM in a box” solution with embedded AKCPro Server. Monitor all your network enabled devices such as intelligent PDU’s, UPS’s, rectifiers and CRAC units. Supports SNMP, Ping and Modbus TCP/IP virtual sensors. Add sensors connected to AKCP base units for a complete end to end data center monitoring solution.


Tablet View

The SensorProbe2 has a dedicated tablet view user interface, allowing you to monitor your data center stats with drill down mapping from custom desktops over Wi-Fi while roaming your data center. This allows technicians on the ground to be updated realtime and respond to critical alerts immediately.




Floorplan to Cabinet Mapping

AKCPro Server has a simple drawing program to allow you to quickly create floorplan views of your data center, drag and drop sensors into their relevant locations and drill down from a building-wide to the individual cabinet. The mapping user interface can be accessed from a desktop PC or on the roaming tablet view. For containment systems, AKCPro Server has containment map views that utilize data from several sensors including our cabinet analysis sensors for thermal mapping and differential pressure monitoring.
